Interview videographer in Paris

A good interview is never improvised: well-prepared questions, considered lighting, clean sound and a speaker at ease on camera. It’s what holds a documentary, a corporate film or an aftermovie together.

Interviews I film

Executives

An announcement, a year in review, a vision. Questions prepared with you, and a speaker put at ease.

Employees

For employer branding and internal comms: your people talking about their work.

Clients and partners

Credible testimonial videos, filmed at their premises or on location.

Talent and guests

Artists, chefs, event speakers, in a few minutes between two key moments.

Vox pops

Off-the-cuff answers, made for social media.

What makes a good interview

  • Preparation. I prepare the questions with you around the purpose of the video, not from a generic list.
  • Putting people at ease. Most interviewees aren’t used to being on camera. A conversation before we roll changes everything.
  • The image. Lighting set up on location, considered framing, and a two-camera setup when the film calls for it.
  • The sound. Lavalier mics plus a backup mic: without clean sound, an interview is unusable.
  • The edit. I keep the lines that carry your message and cover them with B-roll from the field.

How it works

  1. Brief

Tell me what you need through the form, then we jump on a call to pin down the objective, location, date and budget.

    You’ll get a detailed quote.
  2. Pre-production

Running order, interview questions, shot list and a location recce if needed.

You sign off the shooting plan.
  3. The shoot

Proper lighting and sound, without getting in the way of your teams or your guests.

Nothing for you to handle on the day.
  4. Post-production and delivery

Edit, colour grade, subtitles and a version for every channel, with rounds of feedback included.

You get files ready to publish.

Frequently asked questions

Do we need a dedicated room for the interviews?

Ideally, a quiet room of around ten square metres. But I adapt: office, workshop, trade show stand, outdoors.

Do you prepare the questions?

Yes. I suggest an outline based on the purpose of the video, which you approve before the shoot.

How many people can you interview in a day?

Usually four to eight, depending on the length of each interview and travel time.

Can interviewees review the video?

You receive a first cut, and your feedback is incorporated before final delivery.

How much does a video with interviews cost?

It depends on the number of interviewees, the locations and the amount of editing. Every project gets a detailed quote, sent within 48 hours of our first conversation.
